Why I Do What I Do
As a time served joiner I have
been in the building trade for over 30 years. Being in the business for this
long, I know more than most that customers are concerned with the quality of
the work they are getting, that’s why I aim to provide the highest quality of
work for all my customers no matter how big or small the job is. Quality I use the best quality of materials for the price of the
job, for example on tiling jobs I will always use Whitestar Flexible Adhesive
and Microflex Grout. The reason? Because it is one of the best on the
market and helps ensure that as time passes the grout remains clean and the
tiles remain stuck to the wall!
Doing the job properly is the only way to do work. If
a floor is to be tiled, I would always recommend that plywood is laid and
screwed down properly prior to the tiling beginning. I also use Timberflex
Adhesive, with an Ad Mix. This helps to ensure that if there is any movement in
the floorboards the tiles themselves flex with any movement in the timber floor
and don’t lift.
A lot of the work that is carried out may not actually be visible to a customer. This is because most of a good job is down to good preparation. Correct installation of baths and showers includes additional fixings, to the manufacturing guidelines and correct support to ensure that in the years to come the seal of the bath or shower doesn’t break down due to poor installation.
