Wirral Trading Standards
AWARD WINNER

As the first registered member on the Trader Scheme, which is run by Wirral Borough Council's Trading Standards Department, I have consistently shown my dedication to a high standard of workmanship and quality goods and materials used.
In 2006, when the Awards were first introduced, I received an Award for recognition of my High Standards. Then in 2007 I received the joint Runner-Up Award. Followed in 2008 by a 5 Star Award, to acknowledge the excellent customer feedback which I have received.
Wirral Trader Scheme is an initiative of Wirral Trading Standards. The scheme aims to create a trading environment where consumers can buy goods or services with confidence.
Traders must demonstrate a commitment to trade fairly and honestly, and to deal effectively with any dissatisfaction expressed by their customers. They also have to meet minimum standards of quality set out in the ‘Code of Practice’. Applicants are checked out by Wirral Trading Standards with regard to any complaint history with Wirral and neighbouring Authorities, court proceedings and business practices. The range of service provision contained within the scheme is wide although not all businesses who apply to join the Scheme have been accepted.
